As these conditions cause pain, tight muscles and limited movement, it is our priority to promptly address these issues and normalize the soft tissues, leading to an improvement and return to normal daily function. In addition, we are proactive in addressing factors such as flexibility, specific sport biomechanics, strengthening and conditioning, and footwear, all which will enable the athlete to minimize future problems and improve overall athletic performance. In conjunction with the Sports Medicine Physician and staff, Massage Therapy will help the athlete achieve maximal recovery potential and get back to his/her sport. It is in our best interest to have a positive working relationship, which will yield success for all involved.
